Let’s look at Premier League Predictions – Week 7. We have some fantastic games lined up for the week 7 of the premier league. Some of the stand out fixtures this week are Newcastle vs Brighton, Fulham vs Aston Villa, and of course Liverpool vs Chelsea.

Spurs vs West Ham

Spurs have not had the best start to the Premier League this season although they are playing some attractive football. They’ve just not had that bit of luck go with them. They’re currently 9th in the table, 8 points of the top. They play West Ham this weekend who have had an ever worse start to the season. If you look at the head to head stats it Spurs do come out on top and they are playing at home where they typically tend to do better.

Result: 2 – 1 Spurs Win

Fulham vs Villa

The Villans play Fulham at Craven Cottage. Villa have been continuing where they left off last season and currently sit in 5th place just 4 points off the top and tied with Chelsea on points for 4th. Fulham on the other hand are in 8th with 11 points. Recent fixtures have all gone Villas way and it is more than likely to be the same this weekend. I see a lot of goals from this game.

Result: 3 – 1 Villa Win

Newcastle vs Brighton

This weekend’s match between Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion is shaping up to be a closely contested fixture in the Premier League. Both teams are level on points, sitting in the upper half of the table, with Newcastle in 7th and Brighton in 6th. Here my premier league predictions – week 7 for this game.

Newcastle’s recent form has been mixed, with the Magpies struggling to find consistency. They are winless in their last three league games, drawing two and losing one. Newcastle has been dealing with injuries, particularly in attack, with key strikers Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson facing fitness concerns.

Historically, Brighton has had the upper hand in this fixture, but Newcastle’s home record is strong—they are unbeaten in their last 11 Premier League games at St. James’ Park

Premier League Predictions – Week 7

Result: 2 – 2 Draw

ManU vs Brentford

This weekend’s match between Manchester United and Brentford at Old Trafford is pivotal, especially for United, who have had a disappointing start to the season. Erik ten Hag’s side is languishing in 14th place in the Premier League, struggling with tactical inconsistencies and a lack of goals, managing only five in seven league games. Key injuries to players like Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, and Bruno Fernandes have further weakened their campaign

Brentford, in contrast, have had a more stable start, sitting in 11th. Despite missing key players, they’ve shown resilience, with Bryan Mbeumo being a standout performer, scoring six goals in seven matches. Brentford’s quick counter-attacking play, led by Mbeumo, will be a major factor in how they approach this game, aiming to exploit United’s defensive lapses

Result: 2 – 1 Brentford Win

Liverpool vs Chelsea

This is a tough one for the premier league predictions – week 7. The upcoming clash between Liverpool and Chelsea is a high-profile encounter in the Premier League, with both teams aiming to solidify their standing in the top four. Liverpool have had a strong start to the season, building on their attacking prowess. Players like Mohamed Salah and Darwin Núñez have been pivotal, with the team scoring freely. Aren Slot looks to have started where Jurgen Klopp left off and are currently in 1st place just 1 point above City and Arsenal.

Chelsea, on the other hand, are still trying to find their rhythm under Enzo Maresca. They’re currently in 4th and while they have been sharp in attack they do seem prone to mistakes at the back which can be costly against a Liverpool side with a stellar 3 up front.

Tactically, this match will be a battle between Liverpool’s high-pressing, fast-paced game and Chelsea’s more methodical build-up play. Liverpool will look to exploit Chelsea’s occasional defensive vulnerabilities, particularly on the counter-attack, while Chelsea will try to dominate possession and control the tempo. Both teams have been prone to defensive errors this season, so it could turn into an open, high-scoring affair. Liverpool will need to keep tabs on Cole Palmer while Chelsea need to content with the speed and flair on Liverpools wings.

Given the attacking talent on display and the defensive uncertainties, this match could be decided by individual brilliance or mistakes. While Liverpool come into this game as slight favorites due to their form and stability, Chelsea’s potential to disrupt Liverpool’s flow makes this a finely poised contest, with either side capable of snatching a victory.

Result: 3 – 2 Liverpool Win
